“Carnival memories” is a project which aims to get students to collaborate sharing memories of Carnival celebrations in their home countries now that the pandemia has cancelled all public celebrations. It involves Foreign Language students from schools in Greece, Spain and Brazil who will use a common language of understanding (either English or Spanish).
Our project aims students from Brazil, Greece and Spain to collaborate sharing memories of Carnival celebrations in their home countries now that the COVID-19 pandemia has cancelled all public celebrations.
Students with share memories and compare ways of celebrating Carnival.
We expect our project to:
- raise cultural awareness and respect to diversity as well as acceptance of different opinions from peers
- improve foreign language skills
among all participating students
